——————-Lots of extra info————————-
The New moon.
Focus on what is new, what needs to be new and how you can support what is new. Sometimes the clarity comes from recognising what is old. This is a great day to clean, to purge anything you are done with and to take some time to reset, refine and adjust your intentions to reflect the completion of this time frame. The new moon represents a time of rebirth and growth, and an ideal time to create something new.
This Octobers new moon is astrologically focused on relationships, in this time we put much energy into all relationships from romantic, personal or business partnerships. What one can share with people becomes more important than what divides them.
With the Celtic year begins in November (Samhain), The October New Moon is the last of the year, and so we are leaving the October moon the Harvest Moon, setting the seeds of the new moon, but also after harvest we ready the seed for the following year.
This Octobers new moon is astrologically focused on relationships, and the Place being Carnahalla – an ancient spiritual site dating back at least 8,000 years with huge heart-shaped acoustically charged ancient amphitheatre, so for me as a Sound Healer you can see why I’m excited, figures crossed for the weather and we may get to have a sound bath in this heart-shaped amphitheatre, to help us set the seed of the relationships of the year to follow.
More on the Venue: Mythical, Mysterious and Magical Place.
Carnahalla is a gateway to Ireland’s Mythological past hidden away in the rolling pastureland’s of Tipperary at the base of the Slieve Felim. The site is a spiritual sanctuary for visitors who wish to discover our ancient spiritual history. Embedded within over 70 acres of beautiful ancient woodland planted by the Butlers of Ormond. With its ceremonial tree-lined walking embankments, bronze age cooking sites, the stone seat of the Goddess, fairy ring forts and burial mounds, exhibiting evidence of habitation dating back 8,000 years, up to the modern history. There are over 30 monuments to discover including a huge heart-shaped acoustically charged ancient amphitheatre where pilgrims, priests, priestesses would have carried out their ceremonies and inaugurations. The quality and range of the acoustics underwrites its ancient secrecy and ritual activities.
